FAQ
GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national exam for admission to M.Tech/PhD programmes and for recruitment by many PSUs. Students in the third or higher year of an undergraduate degree, and graduates, are eligible.
Choose DA if you enjoy probability, linear algebra and machine learning. Choose CSE if you are strong in core computer science (OS, networks, compilers) and want the widest choice of M.Tech and PSU options. You can appear for both, since GATE allows two-paper combinations.
Yes. The syllabus, previous year questions with solutions and topic quizzes are free. A Pro plan with full-length mock tests and detailed analytics is coming soon.
Most aspirants prepare for 6–12 months. With a focused plan and regular PYQ practice, 4–6 months of daily study can be enough if your fundamentals are already strong.
Yes. Several public sector undertakings shortlist candidates using GATE scores. Each PSU announces its own eligible papers and cut-offs every year, so check their notifications.
